Privacy Policy
MangaLens detects text in manga images on web pages opened by the user and displays a translation in the language selected by the user. MangaLens does not operate a manga catalogue and does not permanently store source manga images as product content.
Data we process
- Account email and authentication provider identifier when an account is linked.
- Lens Credit balance, subscription status and promotion usage.
- Image data and target language needed to perform a translation. Source images are processed transiently and are not retained as a manga library.
- Translation text, coordinates, technical hashes and model/version metadata used for caching and quality.
- Performance and error measurements that exclude full page URLs and source manga images.
- Preferences such as translation overlay appearance.
Why we process data
We process data to provide authentication, translation, abuse prevention, credits, subscriptions, support and service reliability. Service providers may include Supabase, Google Gemini, RevenueCat, Google Play and Apple App Store. Each provider processes data under its own terms and privacy commitments.
Storage and sharing
Translation cache records primarily contain text, coordinates and technical hashes rather than source images. Personal data is not sold. Data is shared only with service providers needed to operate MangaLens or when legally required.
Your choices and deletion
You may access, correct or delete your account data. Permanent accounts can be deleted from the MangaLens account panel. This removes the profile, Lens Credit wallet and associated MangaLens server data. Store subscriptions are not cancelled automatically and must be cancelled separately through Google Play or the App Store.

Security and changes
We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards, but no internet transmission is absolutely secure. Material policy changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date.
